When the engine is starting the carb is flooding from all over the place. The engine is back firing. All this is becoming a fire hazzard.

more than likely your floats in the carb are set wrong or stuck, it's probably time for a carb rebuild.

Either the float has sunk, or a piece of dirt is holding the seat open. The result is the carb floods.

float damage. rebuild the carb but you must buy the float seperate from the carb kit, or replace the carb with a new/rebuilt carb.
