Im in really great shape and am quite attractive for my age of 16, and I am uncircumcised. (Trying not to be egotistical)

Would being circumsised be an essential to turning on a girl I like?
---
Is the surgery worth while if there are no complications and everything runs smoothly?
---
I guess that the main thing i am trying to learn here is, if everything runs smoothly during the surgery. And a guy like me whose in great shape, should be circumsised, because I am debating as to whether or not i should go through with the surgery or not?

I'd like if only experienced guys and girls can answer this.

In todays world its not uncommon for a man to be uncircumsised. But girls can be critical beotches too. Some girls like it better and some like the "traditional look" If youre comfortable with it and have no qualms, id say go for it! good luck!

I know a lot of people have answered you already, but circumcision is NOT essential. There are a couple things you should ask yourself (one of them not being whether or not a circumcised penis turns on girls).

Do you have any major problems with your foreskin, either with hygiene, smell, irritation, etc? Do you enjoy having your foreskin, when you masturbate and such? Have you tried having your glans (penis head) fully exposed for a long period of time with your foreskin retracted? Was it comfortable? And lastly, are you comfortable with having your foreskin? If you answers follow something like "no, yes, yes, no, yes" then circumcision probably isn't for you.

You should get it done only if YOU want it done (not for some girl), or if you've been having problems with your foreskin no matter what you do. If a girl rejects you for your uncircumcised penis, she's probably very shallow in some sense. Furthermore, about 80% of the world's male population is uncircumcised; thus the women that go with a majority of those men probably prefer it that way or don't care.

Lastly, there have been studies that seem to indicate that both men and women enjoy sex more if the guy's uncircumcised. So she might not be turned on the first time she sees it, but once she tries it out (so to speak) she might love it, provided that you keep your foreskin very clean. Also, circumcision removes a lot of nerves and thus decreases sensitivity (see link).

Circumcision is not recommended by the American Medical Association unless there is a medical condition requiring it. Circumcision makes your penis less sensitive in two ways; first, it removes thousands of nerve endings which are embedded in the foreskin, and second, it exposes the head of the penis which then develops a layer of insensitive keretin.

Circumcision is ofcourse irreversable. Once you lose those nerves, they won't grow back.

As you know by your age, keeping your penis clean is easy - just pull the foreskin back while showering and soap it well.

Most women will not care. At your age, around 30% of boys are uncircumcised in the US; and about 85% in the world in general.

Boys born today are much less likely to be circumcised; the rate in the US is now below 60% for newborns, and is dropping every year.

Leave your penis as it is, and instead concentrate on giving the most enjoyment you can to your partner. Learn to use it well, and you will have no complaints.

Why would you want a completely unnecessary surgery at your age? There is absolutely nothing wrong with being unciscumsized. My boyfriend is uncircumsized, and I find it to be exactly the same as my previous boyfriend, who was circumsized. You getting a circumcision to impress a girl is almost the same as a girl getting a boob job to get a guy. It just doesn't make sense. Just like any other part of dating, if she can't accept you for who you are, then she really isn't the girl for you. And it is impossible to know how a surgery will go, as every person's body is different. So going under the knife, even for the most simplest surgery, is risking your life. Do you really want that? The decision is yours, but remember that a circumcision is permanent, you can never go back to the way it was. Just think long and hard about this. Also, have you talked to your parents about this? There must have been some reason why they chose not to circumsize you when you were born. If this is something that is really important to you, not just to impress a girl, talk to them and maybe if they feel it is ok, they can schedule to have you consult a doctor about the surgery.

It's not essential at all. The USA is the only industrialized country that does it (Europeans, Asians, and Latin Americans mostly aren't) and new research shows that it removes sensitivity and causes worse sex in 60% of guys that get circumcised as adults. Fewer parents are having their boys circumcised. =)

Overall, too much attention is paid to the 'advantages' of circumcision while not enough is paid to the disadvantages, but when we have a for-profit medical industry, you don't have to wonder why. ;)

As for keeping it clean, I'm sure you and I know that that's is no issue. Those with no experience with uncircumcised penises think stuff grows there nonstop. LOL! It's the same stuff as your eyelids/mouth/vagina. I've never had an infection down there, nor hygiene problems (takes five seconds to slide it back and rub the head, it even feels great).

There has been a lot of crap written here and all by people who advocate the mutilation of the genitals of young boys or babies and offering up the the no brainer of hygiene as a reason, saying that it is easier to clean.Just how long does it take to pull back a foreskin and clean there, even the doctors are now coming out against this barbaric procedure saying that there is no good reason that a male with a healthy penis should have this done and the older you get the worse it is,the risk of scaring and keloids and then the desensitizing of the glans. The risks and after damage far outweigh the supposed benefits.

I've heard that men who are intact are better in bed because they feel the sensations more naturally and respond better. I don't know. I've bedded several men, and only one was intact. He wasn't any better (or worse) than most of them.

It didn't make much difference to me, but some girls might get squeamish, especially if they have just a little experience. Girls with NO experience would just think it was the normal way to be (which, technically, it is). Girls with LOTS of experience would probably be rather laid back (if you'll excuse the expression) and non-judgmental. It's the ones in between--those who've been with a couple of guys only--that I would expect to react negatively (if they've never been with an intact male). Do you have any idea where this babe falls in the continuum?

I am circumcised and have been since birth so i don't know what the experience is like, but i know that they put you to sleep so you don't feel anything, and then after the surgery it takes a month or so for the penis to heal and then your good to go. It does NOT reduce the size of your penis (hodgie). However you should only do this if YOU want to do it not if you think some girl will like it, because chances are your not going to be with this girl for the rest of your life, but you will be circumcised for the rest of your life. I have no problems with being circumcised, and in fact i love it. And i have NO issues with it being desensitized (just some rumor). But you need to think about if this is something that you really do want to do.

Dude if a girl would dump you just because you have a 'hooded viper" then you are much better without her! Some girls prefer cut, some prefer uncut, some like both (and a few like neither) it's that simple. Besides, during intercourse it should be bagged anyway. Surgery is a major thing regardless of where they're cutting and this is unnecessary, especially at 16. Just keep it clean and "minty fresh". Be less worried about the physical you and let the inner you attract that hottie!

For starters I would like to say natural is better & at your age you should be able to openly speak to your folks about this. Some religions feel it unsanitary for a man to be uncircumcized but most fathers who are against it teach their sons the proper way to cleanse the rabbit & its burrow Condoms CONDOMS as you being natural you are at a much higher risk for breeding BACTERIA & infections especially VD (Venerial Diseases) so alway know your partner take extra precautions always be safe not sorry later
Listen to your parents talk to counselers doctors there are benefits either way but it is def better natural
There is nothing to be ashamed about the appearance and it should be your own choice not the girl you are trying to impress it is very special for a man to stay natural... Being circumcized is smoother but no-one says its better ..Now that you are older an operation is more painful and as well the sensitivity in that area is more intense so depending on what you have been used to etc............. you may or may not lose your stimulation in this area, but one of the major risks in cutting.
To note and let you in in on a lil secret woman in general say they'd prefer the cut over the natural but truth is they klymax 70% more with the natural ribbed effect now go talk to your folks.
Petrina... mom of all girls no experience raising boys whatsoever or the male gentelia personal experience is all.
I read alot as well
