If you haven't figured it out in the last 6 and 1/2 years, then it is probably beyond your realm of comprehension.

Oh, how nice! The funny thing is, the word terrorism is a loose word, you may define it however you want. Bush never told us what he meant by terrorism, so according to the patriot act of 2006, many things could be "terrorism." Maybe if you say the name Osama or Sadaam you are promoting terrorism according to Bush. Oh, and that means that Bush will make you disappear. Evil, evil politics.

A terrorist is someone who's the enemy of the U.S. and fights using unconventional means. Example: Al-Quaeda.
Someone who's fighting on the side of the U.S. and fights using unconventional means is a "freedom fighter." Example: the Nicaraguan "contras."
On the other hand, Bush likes to invoke terrorism whenever he wants the public's support for something. I'm surprised he didn't mention terrorism when he was trying to sell his social security plan.

Bush's definition of the word terrorism is this: "you are either with me or against me". Meaning anyone who doesn't agree with Bush is a terrorist.

According to Bush and Cheney, anyone not agreeing with their policies is a terrorist sympathizer. Thus, by extension, terrorists. Who the hell knows what their official definition is?

According to current federal law, anyone he so designates.
Yep. He (through the AG and/or Secty of State) can declare anyone or any group a terrorist. Unfetted discretion.
Which really makes the word meaningless.

Are you calling American Troops Terrorists?!?!
Are you calling WMD bearing Saddam Hussein a 'victim'?!?!
You, sir. Are a coward.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
