My thoughts ?
I think he deserved it...
May be Bush Sr. should have pursued him when he was in office?
But weather it had happen back then or now with his son in office... the out come would have been the same.
We have people here in the U.S. that for whatever reason ... still don't believe that we have to fight not only for our freedom ... but that also for our allies.
We were drawn into this by their beliefs that all Americans are evil. We have freedoms here that they can only dream of having there.
I also think that there will never be a lasting piece in the east because of the various religions and beliefs that the people have been brought up to believe.
Until people ... not only here .. but around the would ... could look at the world ... as being the only place to which we have to live out our lives. It would seem to me that it would be much easier to love and help one another than it would be try to kill each other off.
War is not the answer to stopping wars. People working together, helping one another and realizing that this rock that we live on is really not all that huge.

i personaly think that saddam hussein shouldve been punished for all the evil things and crimes that he did.but for the US in particular a Judge (even though he was also an Arab native) i think death penalty was too extreme.i believe and this is just me...but i believe that NO man has the right to take the life of another human being no matter how violent of a crime he/she has done. its up to God to judge those who have caused pain to others.

I'm glad he's dead and the way I see it they should have killed him in the same manner that he killed all those people. The punishment should fit the crime. Now if we could catch that Coward Binlodin and all his so called wives and little magits they've reproduced over the years. When we first started training him and his followers back in the 70's I told every one then he'd come back to bite us in the end and look at him now.

I think that he was a scapegoat for this war on terror to attempt to take the publics mind off of Bin Laden. Although he has done unspeakable things, I would much rather that it was Bin Laden with the hangmans noose.

It was pretty much how he would have done it if the boot had been on the other foot, proving there's not a whole lot of difference w. leaders like these on all sides.

They should have dressed it up a bit and put it on pay-per-view. Maybe made it fight to the death or something.
