My son jumped off the diving board once and nearly drown me. I was supposed to catch him, but he was supposed to jump in front of me. I had just laid back to push back away from the diving board when he jumped right in the middle of my chest. It knocked the wind out of me and I could barely swim since I was struggling so hard to catch my breath. The scarriest part was every time I tried to grab him to push him up and keep his head above the water we would both go under. I finally got a breath and got a few good kicks and managed to get us to shallower water where I could touch bottom. It was really scarry there for a few seconds though... I'm a pretty strong swimmer, I never thought I would be in that situation just having some fun with my kids in the pool.

December 26th, 2005, my sis and I were on the Laughlin to Boulder City road and suddenly a wall of sand appeared. We ran right into it and bumped the rear of a car. Our car became inoperable, and I received a seat belt injury. Seat belt injuries have been known to break the protective bones over the heart and pierce it. I was lucky. There were other people and cars in the storm, but the strange thing is the road was perfectly normal before the sand storm hit. Nevada is a sweet but strange state.

I'm 23 and the scariest thing that happened to me was when i broke up with my ex-boyfriend and he started stalking me. I was afraid because at the same time he was stalking me I saw on the news that this man, poured gasoline, and set his ex of fire, because she didn't want to be with him anymore. He was showing up to my house, job, grandma's house and school, threatening me and everything. He even went as far as loosening the bolts on my tires, so that it would come off when we drove. I thought he was going to kill me, I stop going outside alone, I had to go to the police station and get a restraining order on him, for protection. The scariest thing about it all though was the fact that the police didn't believe or care that he was stalking me. And they couldn't arrest him, because they had no proof that it was him that was brothering me. That was five months ago, and to this day, I check the locks on all the doors, I look under my bed and in all the closest, before i can actually go to sleep at night. That was one of the worst experiences of my life.

When my doctor told me about my first brain tumor and that I'd need surgery was pretty unnerving. It was the after the 5th brain surgery that he shook me up by saying that I'll probably have these benign fast-growing tumors coming back for the rest of my life. I'm only 34 years old. My first brain surgery was in '98. I hate having to go to the hospital now.
