Animation screenwriting?

Is there anything special or unique that screenwriters for animation or cgi do or need to know other than screenwriters for live action?

Not really. The basics are really similar and the differences are more under the technical aspects not the writing.

all i can say for this is that when your screenwirting for animation , or aminating a screenwirting, you need to make it as real as you can. But very fun and enjoyable to watch.
