We were driving home from dinner tonight and I thought about the name Shallyn? [Pronounced Shallen] What do you think??

Wouldn't be something that I would pick. I guess I like the more traditional names--there are many pretty ones for girls.

I know of a girl name Shaylen. (shay lynn) It's ok, not my favorite, but better than a lot of names that are becoming popular. Hope the last name is kinda plain so it's not too much for a little kid to spell or say. Good luck

not liking it, sorry. I like it pronounced Shay-lin. But it's you choice not everyone is going to like a name. My kids have different names and some love it some don't but i am happy with their names.

I think it sounds sweet and unique. It has a nice ring to it. I like the name Shay so Shallyn is cool its more unique and fin.

I think you have to know the last name to be sure. It is cute and different though. Why not spell it like it sounds?

Cute - I have a neighbor named Shaelyn - everyone calls her Shae (like Shea stadium). It's cute though.

It is close to Shiloh, which I think is pretty
