My academic writing is struggling because i am a very very creative writer, i write plays and novels and music and i have a veyr very hard time writing a thesis etc. any tips to help?

Use a formal language and resist adding in unnecessary adjectives/adverbs. Keep your sentences concise and clear (no winding sentences that go in circles!). You're explaining ideas in a formal way, so try not to use similes, metaphors or anything that can NOT be taken in a literal sense. In other words, everything that you write has to be literal. Also, do not be vague. Try to avoid saying things "a lot" (how much?), "interesting" (how so?), or other general adjectives.

Be literal, be formal, be clear & concise. Try not to use figurative language, make a point. State facts, support all ideas with facts...
