Who are you lying too?

I disagree, I believe if you are constantly lying to other people it's because you are ashamed of who or what you really are, and don't believe people will like the real you.Or you could be lying to create a false image for some kind of profit but fakes are usually caught out in the end.
As for lying to yourself surely people who do that are suffering from some mental delusions?

Your own character and integrity should keep you from lying. If it doesn't then just know that some day you'll start getting caught and eventually no one will ever believe you or trust you.

I'm not lying to anyone now yet, but i have no self esteem and no confidence and i dont think anything i do is good. Even though everybody says i am important and i am smart and complement me, i still dont believe them...So i guess i am lying to myself...PS DONT YOU DARE INSULT ME WITH A THUMBS DOWN THING BECAUSE I JUST TOLD YOU ALL MY FEELINGS AND IF YOU DARE, YOU WILL BE PUNISHED!

I don't think you can really lie to yourself; there's a difference between a lie and uncertainty, but deep down you know what is & isn't a lie.
On the other hand, I won't lie to my wife, and I won't tolerate lies from her. Anyone else-well, it depends on the situation.

im kinda lying to my friends, im nearly always honest with them and they dont believe me, so i lie and then they do believe me, the fun part is trying no to trip yourself up so u have to be consistant.

Have to agree with you on this one, but don't you think we all lie at some time in our life, i wonder why?
