I need to find what my IP address is on my computer. I tried ipconfig, but it is not working for some reason...Is there anywhere else to get that info?? I have dial-up internet, I dont know if that makes a difference.

You need to go to your network settings or ask your Internet Provider. Since IP stands for Internet Provider, its understood that it is the name of a telephone company or wide network. You cannot configure your Internet Provider because it is a company as you don't see. The only way to configure your IP is to franshise with a different company.

did you use the DOS promt to get the IPCONFIG ?
should work

you can try

ipconfig /all

to give you more info

are you using a router ?
if so, theres an internal IP as well, more reading here...

go to start control panel network conections click once one lan and it is in the lower left corner good luck
