and had little or no resposibilities or now that your an adult and are loaded down with them but do things you couldnt then.(sex,drink.....)

i think i fared well when i was a child and had my share of the best things in life--and i say the best things are the moments you played with only the thought of pleasure. and i took great pleasure in thinking about nothing at all except to play. it's great to see life without care of the world . but as i can see now, it's greater to see life with responsibility on your shoulders because now i take pleasure in doing things "a child at heart" loved doing without someone to watch him over..

Depends on your childhood. Some children have lots of responsibilities, or have little food or shelter. My brothers and I were abused by my father. The best day of my life was the day I could get out of that house and never be beaten again. It's been difficult to recover, but I'll take being an adult any day.

Indeed, I envy my younger self having so few responsibilities. There has been an equal trade-off with freedoms and privileges now that I'm 24. Still, now that I have just a little more knowledge & wisdom, I can only conclude that each day is better than the one before.

Definately not, I was at the mercy of adults and adults are not always very adult acting are they. In fact some need to be put away.

No - it's better now because of sex and you get to relive your childhood anyway with kids. You do all the stuff you used to do with them. Getting old does suck. It would be great to never get older than 40.

Of course life was better when I was a child, I did not have to work, worry about bills, I only had to worry about school and summer vacation!
