The lowest point in US is Death Valley, CA.
Mount Whitney is the highest point in the contiguous United States at elevation 14,505 feet (4,421 meters). It is located at the boundary between California's Inyo and Tulare counties.
The states in Rocky Mountain Region are Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

The highest point in the continental US is in Alaska (which is on the North American continent). As Misen55 said, you probably meant contiguous US, then it is Calif. Misen was wrong on the Rocky Mountain states, as Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota are in the Great Plains region.

1) The lowest point in the US is Death Valley in CA, the highest point in the continental US is Mt McKinley in AK.
2) I live in Kansas, sure aren't mountains here.

the lowest point in the continental us is death valley in california. if your information is correct, then the answer to the first one is california, although i could have sworn that the highest point in the continental us is somewhere in colorado.

first one I'd hafta say California or Nevada, not sure why I say Cally but I got a feeling, and Nevada has the dry lake beds.
