Satch, try a balance of both sides of the news. It's available on the internet, radio,tv and news paper.

Will give you the method I used that changed my thoughts and way I look at things.

Back in 80's had a small encounter with a doctor that side lined my butt for a few months (surgery) I started listening to C-Span and what was going on in congress and senate.

Later that evening would be listening to Media News (ABC,CBS or NBC) and would hear small snippets of what occurred that day and with-out fail, it was a one sided presentation. Hardly the true story of what had really happened.

That was the beginning of the changing of my political views. Ever which way it takes you...all you have to do is expose yourself to both sides of the story. You will then be able to make a logical decision about any subject at hand. Keep an open mind, have fun and enjoy life. There's so much to be enjoyed, even when you're exploring the world of politic's.

...no they are mostly tainted by the Collectivist Left. Remember we are talking about news sources not columnists, the tragic nature of our news today is that they engage in social engineering (for our own good they claim) There are some right leaning Journalists (sorry Libs: Rush, Hannity & O'Riley aren't Journalists; they are commentators.) As Commentators, their Conservatism is out front, & not denied. Any elusive right leaning journalists hiding like their more numerous Left-wing bretheren, aren't much of anything to get worked-up over. Welcome to the world of Agenda Driven Media. Most journalists are infused with Liberalism at the University they studied at, and their workplace afterwards. It's one of the reasons the press has fallen so far in the eyes of regular moderate people. The collaspe of Old Media is the public's reaction to their deception. My advice to you is to look at several sources. And learn to follow-up on stories to see if the slant given was justified. I know this requires more effort but at least you learn to see the 'snow job' and at least avoid being manipulated. The agenda driven media is like a dye that stains all the news we are given.

Here is an example (link below) "I don't miss being on the air, I miss not being at the center of gravity there where you're getting the show together, getting the broadcast together, where you're really SETTING THE AGENDA that day for people's consideration. That's an important job, and I miss that." ~~~ Walter Chronkite former CBS news anchor.

bypass forward - use a proxy - then your myspace etc account would be hacked, so which you will whine on right here that your myspace etc account has been hacked particularly. in case you do use a proxy like multiple people submit with those questions, the proxies usually incorporate viruses and might song what you write - so as that they song your passwords! maximum college pc techs block proxies while they detect a clean one besides. whether you acquire to a blocked internet site, the pc admin will decide you probably did and you'd be in greater worry than that is worth. very almost surely loosing your pc get right of entry to rights. (They song your IP and recognize you logged into that internet site). college pc admin are actually not a gaggle of idiots. college and school pc admin take secure practices heavily. that's a substantial component of their job. i'm in that field, i recognize. it is not worth it. settle for the college pc regulations and use a working laptop or pc at your domicile or public library particularly.

No. My rule of thumb is to read a lefty source and a righty source, then figure the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Not really they are all biased. People who don't think a particular one is biased just agree with their bias. If you want to be informed equally you have to try a balance of talk radio, news and the internet.
