Everyone blood line is so mixed up that it is a wonder that people are not born polka dotted.

Yes he could be Colombian yes no doubt his eyes are from genes not nationality or place! lol
Hay dig this I have a light skinned nephew very Nubian looking hes Asian and African mixed but he German, born in Germany now you understand his race is not his nationality do not confuse the 2 many do! they think he is African American he say no and correct them , many don't believe him. so don't claim this is what your friend said know for a fact this is fact! he told you where he was born his nationality you judged him on characteristics that to me is not what friends do and that is to doubt words of a friend.

the norm for colombians are dark hair dark eyes tanned skin this would be the norm very beautiful too!

No, but some do. Colombia is about 20% white. The majority of Colombians are a mixture of white and Amerindian.

No, but it's not impossible. I am Costa Rican and have blonde hair and blue eyes. Latinos come in all colors and sizes.

It is a possibility, aboriginals in Canada can be fair with blue eyes also, genetics works in mysterious ways.

they don't all have to look like that for your friend to be Columbian.
but they do have more Spanish blood than Mexico and Central American countries, so they do tend to look more European--in general.
You can't stereotype and say *all*
