I don't. Conservatives like to say that, but they don't appreciate what a watershed moment Iraq is in the history of American imperialism.

After Iraq, we are not going to war in the Middle East again. Ever.

Yes, absolutely. So it is better to take care of the terrorism now, isn't it? If we leave now, we will be seen as scared, frightened cowards, and not staying the course. We will be thought of as weak by terror factions. They will believe they have won, and will laugh at America. Us leaving Iraq, will leave terrorist factions in charge, making them feel powerful, and making us a terror abiding nation, just like the rest of the world. Never doubt it. If we leave, America are cowards, and will be seen by all, as such. We cannot allow that to happen. We cannot be Spain, who after losing 300 people in a terrorist attack on a train, by Al Qaeda, voted for a socialist to be their president, because he promised to stop helping America with the war on terrorism! He did stop helping, just as the terrorists wanted them to, and that means the terrorists voted for the people of Spain, using fear tactics. America is not afraid to defend FREEDOM, we can't be. We practically invented the word!

If anybody would have read some history, they would have known, that President Wilson in his unbelievable arrogance, set the stage to the Iraq problem in 1919, when he signed of, during the peace thready of Versailles, on arbitrarily drawn borders of an artificial country Iraq. It has been a destabilizer of the middle east since then, never stopped, just went on hold sometimes. US public and Presidents are never interested in facts, but fiction. Fact is, you can't stabilize a country with three totally opposed believe systems, other then with a brutal dictatorship. We will be there in 25 years still. The Pentagon and Weapons Dealers love that kind of thing.

I'm afraid the war in the middle east will be expanded to include Iran before we ever get out of Iraq. The dots are already being connected, we're expanding the number of troops and despite the grandstanding in congress, Bush will get the money he's requesting.

You are so wrong you have no idea even what you are talking about. We will be at war in the Mid-East no matter the outcome in Iraq . The difference being whether we have Iraq as an ally and friend or as a harbor for extremism.

I am positive that you are indeed a propagandist for the Islamic extremists at the very least if not a cell member.

If we leave now, that gives Iran, the Taliban remnants, or Hussein's loyalists the perfect situation to take over. Iraq will not just POOF and become stable. There will be no point to the war if we leave now. We need to stabilize.

Going to war is a choice. It's not obligatory.
America can defend it's country against real enemies without putting a single troop outside the country.

We will be back in the middle east. A good reason might be because of our unequivical support for Israel. If Iran threatens Israel, you can bet we will be there.
