The tragedy was exploited for political and economic gain by our leaders! We wound up in a pointless quagmire and the ones responsible were able to escape capture at Tora Bora in Afghanistan.
New York experienced much the same thing on a smaller scale.
The valuable land at ground zero still stands empty because of a pointless quagmire in NYC's leadership as they struggle to exploit the new contract for economic and political gain.
Meanwhile the ones responsible for 911 continue to evade capture.
