Well, I want to grow out my hair so its shaggy. My mom hates shaggy hair though. How can I convince her t o let me do it?

Dude it's your hair not her's. But if she wont let you do it then...show her some pics of hot guys with shaggy hair...maybe then she'll let you grow it out. lol. hope your mom doesnt suddenly become attracted to you.

Let her know its the style and show some pictures of people with shaggy hair. If you must grow it out, don't make it so shaggy that it makes her mad just looking at you...Presentable shaggy maybe. Your mom has to have some say in your hair if you are still a child...

i did not let my boys until they where 15 y/o if i have to be seen with you as your mother you will look good but after 15 you should have the right to decide what you want to look like pick your own clothes and your hair style

you could straighten it, thats what i do and it doesnt look as bad. it does make me look a little bit emo though...

tell her its the style now..... no matter how stupid it seems to her..... and try to find some pics of her when she was young in the crazy fashions of her time...... that should help.....
