my face is quite smooth and i don't really get zits on my face except maybe one or two when im on my period, but i get a lot on my scalp. apparently its hereditary cause mom says my dad had it too, but i haven't found anything i can do about it. my hair is not oily and you cant really see it because my hair covers them, but every once in a while a few show up along my hairline when i wear a ponytail. what can i do to get rid of them?

Vitamin E is good for the skin and fights acne. You can take tablets or eat Vitamin E enriched foods, such as egg yolk.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Hi sounds like you have overactive oil glands try using different types of shampoo and only put the conditioner on the roots of your hair not near your scalp also try putting some bi carb soda in with your shampoo once a week or fortnight it helps remove all the build up of past hair products and will help neutralise your scalp good luck

Try looking for some information about that online. I have never heard of that, though. So I can't really give you any information about that. Although, if it is anything like facial acne, then you should wash your hair at least ever other, if not every, day thourougly.

Good luck.

wash your hair more often or more intensely....really scrub your scalp....avoid using conditioner near the roots.....if it is right on your hairline just use wash it with facewash... i had the same problem for awhile and although it kinda dried out my hair along my forehead it seemed to help when i used my acne wash ....good luck

usually you get bumps around your hairline when your hair is pulled too tight. a lot of people get them after getting braids or cornrows done. if you like to wear ponytails just try not to pull your hair too tightly.
