It can happen if you miss taking any pills especially on the 13, 14, 15 or 16 day after your period.
More of a professional answer: For a variety of reasons, it is very possible to get pregnant on oral contraceptives. The most common is missing a pill, especially in the first few days of a cycle, when ovulation - once triggered - cannot be stopped by the rest of the pills. If you have had an illness, causing vomiting or diarrhea, you may have thrown up your pill or it may not have been absorbed. Antibiotics, especially those in the penicillin family, may interfere with the absorption and metabolism of the pill.
Even if combined pills are used perfectly (same time every day with none of the above problems) about one in 1,000 women will get pregnant within the first year.

As long as you are taking them regularly and like your suppose to, and you dont double up or conveniently "forget" the effectiveness last well into the next days. Birth Control are fabricated Hormones that suppress the hormones that cause pregnancy or succesful implantations depending what Birth Control your on. The effect of the pill just doesnt wear off at such and such a time.
I cant understand if women dont want to become pregnant why do they have sex when there pills are almost gone, not regularly taking them, or missed some. Dont you guys read the fine print on the prescriptions or listen to the doctor that gave them to you? You run risk of pregnancy anytime you play with your dosages, miss them, or double them up.
Chances are slim your pregnant with the way you described it. Next time your in the situation then dont have sex, or make him wear a condom.

I got pregnant on the pill from missing one. It depends on the pill, if you asked your doctor for a weaker pill then it is very very important to take it at the exact same time. Chances are if your a teenager your doctor would have given you a stronger dosed one for times when you may forget to take it at an exact time... You will just have to be patient and wait a few days to know if your period is going to be late..and even if it is late it could be because you messed up on ur pills

Probably not. Birth control is in your system for a while, even when you stop taking it. So taking it a few hours late should still prevent you from getting pregnant. You only need to worry if you skip 2 days or more. But take a test in a week or so just to ease your mind.

very unlikely. Birth control pills work wonderfully even if you skip a day. It doesn't matter what time of day you take it either as long as you still took it and had your period your fine.
If your worried next time use a condom as well.

Matha Fu,
Anytime you have sex you run the risk of getting pregnant, I think you know that. Considering what you have said I personally don't think your pregnant at this time.
