It seems like for the past 18 years that i have been watching the show, it goes through waves. Some years its hysterical, jam-packed with very rememberable moments, other times, its just about as boring as I can think of!
The early 1990's with Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, HYSTERICAL!
The first year with Will Ferrell (like the Jim Carey Episode that started the whole "Roxbury" spoof,) and now, it seems with Andy Samberg, Will Forte, Amy Poehler, and the gang have taken the show to a new level! I actually look forward to tuning in now, where just a couple seasons ago I wouldn't wait up!
Would anyone else agree that SNL has reclaimed the comedy crown?

Sorry, I don't get to watch as often as I would like, but I still miss Will Farrell and the others that left around that time.

I think its working twords a rebirth, just not quite there yet. But it has been alot better as of lately. I wish that they would quit opening every week with a political peice. Sandberg and Poehler are hilarious. They also need some more fart humor, I love smart humor, but sometimes you jsut need to go for the cheap laugh and they haven't been doing that as much lately.

I wouldn't know, seeing as I stopped watching it a few months back. The episodes just keep getting more and more boring, so I switched to watching MAD TV. It's 100 times funnier.

If what you say it true about this season's comedy, then I will see if I can bear it this Saturday.
