The Democrats just passed a bill that would bring our troops home in 2008 of Sep. But my question is... what does Hannity expect,, that our troops should stay in Iraq forever? How can he argue with bringing them home in a year and a half? When is enough enough for him?

LOL! Well you know I think it's kind of dumb to keep denying that the war is in the toilet when it's definitely down in the toilet. It's also ignorant to keep throwing good money after bad, desperately hoping that "this time it will be different". The Republicans were not intellectually prepared to fight a war against a country who perceives the war to be religious persecution, and which itself is torn apart by sectarian squabbles. And the funny thing is that instead of educating themselves on the Muslim world during this time of failure in Iraq, the Republicans just reverted further into cowboy tactics -- bigger guns, more ammo, more soldiers. Yeah, that ought to do it!

I don't listen to Hannity much anymore, I used to, he just is so full of hate lately. As a Country we are where we are, I do wish our troops could come home, I also realize there is a job to be done. We must finish the job, no matter how unpleasant it is. I feel it will get worse before it gets better. I have no idea what is enough for Hannity, I just know I have had my fill of him.

Hannity expects our troops to stay in Iraq until the job is done stabilizing the country and helping the Iraqis get to a point where they can defend and police their own country.

The Democrats want our troops pulled out regardless of what state Iraq is in, and regardless of what will happen once we leave.

That is why Democrats are correctly being called defeatists by not just Hannity but any number of people.

i'm not following your good judgment. Hannity has been shown repeatedly and yet lower back to be a liar. And why single out Democrats? i'm particular there are various diverse minded people who see Hannity for what he's, and don't watch.

Hannity is a pundit. So are most talking heads on cable TV shows. You can't take his word for gospel. He doesn't speak for everyone, and it's absurd to think that anyone would advocate "staying in Iraq forever," as you've suggested. This fallacy is called the "straw man." Go look it up.

It would probably do you good not to watch the cable news networks, they get you (and me) unnecessarily riled up over the dumb things partisan pundits say.

Well, they are of the belief that a win is not possible so are in favor of capitulation. That's a classic characteristic of defeatism. I suspect that enough for him is after victory. Really, the US doesn't need to turn Iraq into another Vietnam where we stabbed the government of Vietnam in the back and assured misery and suffering for their people that ha lasted some 30 years.

Hannity isn't too well known for being a humanitarian, so I'm sure he'd be happy with US troops staying in Iraq till there's not an Iraqi left standing. That's about the only way the Iraqi's will stop fighting with each other and be ready to "take control" of their country, is if every last one of them is incapable of fighting. It really helped staying on and on in Vietnam, too, right?

The point is that US force won't solve the problem.

You can hire million janitors if you like, but they will never build a space shuttle to fly out to space. Yea, I'm sure Hannity will call those janitors wimps if they give up on building spaceship.

And Hannity is just stereotypical GOP crack pot. He's found niche in TV media for those.

Are you going to tell the enemy your plan they will wait you out. We have enough Generals don't need 500 plus more if they want to be one ENLIST. Yes we must go if Iraq won't answer the call and soon.
