John M is right. If you are going to be loud, what better place than behind the Yankee dugout. Yankee Dude is right in that you will be among 35,000 of your best friends if you are a Red Sox fan. Fenway Park is not a dump. Come early. Walk around outside. Have some of the food on sale from some of the top Boston restaurants. Have a cold beer or two. Then go in, wherever your seats are, even in the upper bleachers, you will have a good time if the Red Sox win. The Yankees are starting the season with Andy Pettite and Chien Meih Wang on the DL, so maybe you'll get to see Carl Pavano pitching for them. In one game Pavano started against the Red Sox in June 2003 the Red Sox won 26-8. If you do sit in the center field bleachers, please join the other Red Sox fans in giving Johnny Damon my love.

There are no good seats at Fenway. It's a dirty, smelly, old, out of date dump. It's the only place on earth where you can go and be among 35,000 assholes cheering for the Red Sox. If you want to drink and be loud it doesn't really matter where you sit.

Fenway's an old decrepit dump. Better off in any of the local sports bars...

Make sure your seat is not in front of a huge metal beam. Several seats there are.
