SanDisk Sansa e270 question?

My friend bought the new SanDisk Sansa e280R (Rhapsody) and when he is listening to music, a clock is shown on the toolbar. But mine doesn't because it's "older" and it doesn't have that function. Is there a way I can download that feature to it? If so, please give me a website.
