To be honest, I tend to think the best things Labour have done over the past 10 years have been despite Blair rather than due to anything he has done.
Best things - The minimum wage, 10 years of economic stability, depoliticising interest rates by making them the responsibility of the bank of England, genuine aid to the third world - writing off debt e.t.c (all four down to Gordon Brown) and devolution - Blair only went through with it because it was John Smith's "unfinished business".

Blair and his government are devious and attempt to conceal each thing up . Thatcher became basic and up front , yet plenty too brutal even although she did have particularly a multitude to clean up and set this us of a on a forward course particularly that the dark one before on the time I did ok as i became fortunate sufficient to be employed by using those years , yet i glance decrease back now on the industry she destroyed and how we've this type of small production foundation . The metallic industry , the coal industry , the shipbuilding industry , the automobile .. etc etc . innovations you the unions behaviour in preserving the rustic to ransom did no longer help . that is my rant for the day ... sorry

Like you, I don't like him or most of his policies, BUT:
-he did bring about SureStart, which is a good attempt to give children a better education and early life.
-he did invest a lot of time in stopping fighting in Northern Ireland, although I think the late Mo Mowlam (whom Mr Blair later sacked) should take a lot of credit for that.
All in all though the guy's a war criminal and should be in gaol.

george tony gordon maggie... all closet fascists.... tax teh poor, let the rich get richer, and let the economy go to the dogs... were teh 4th richest country in the world, with 3rd world healthcare, and and education system which puts students into massive debts... and yet we manage to have 60% of our kids leaving school unable to read write and do basic maths...
since maggie, this country has gone down faster than a ten quid hooker...
bring back a socialist government... give the power back to the people, we'll show you what we want... and it isnt this...

um, er, no, sorry I can't think of a single thing.
P.S. Why does New Labour boast that police are at record levels, like that's some kind of major achievement. Our population is at record levels and it only makes sense that police numbers would follow that.
