Women With Physical Disabilities or Any Woman: Bra Question?

Question

A woman I know who has paraplegia is looking for a bar. Where it gets complicated is that she has to put the bra on like a shirt (over her head, without using the clasp) do to the physical disability. She either winds up with a bra that is too stiff and it bothers her breathing or she winds up with one that is not durable and stretches out and tears apart over a short period of time.

Would someone please recomend some bras that she could wear comfortably.

Well, how about one of those sports bras that you see women wearing to jog? Unless she is huge, I imagine she could use one of those. They are available from Champion and Hanes, I believe. Good luck with that, hon.

Well you could try a sports bra. Those are really good with support, and they're made to be comfortable, and some even have padding. You can get some really good bras for $25-30 and it'll last for a good while. Bras should be replaced every 3 or 4 months though, or if you rotate between a few bras you can make it last a year or so.

Sports bras are usually pretty comfortable - and they have styles now that don't look like a "unaboob". Personally, I would go to professional in a high end department store for a measurement - theycouldpoint ou out to the styles. She wouldn't need to buy there of course - but the free advice wold be worth it,

Maybe a sports bra would help. They make some of them with out the hooks in them.

they make bras today that are similar to sports bras but support you and and don't hurt breathing and they are are call best support i believe and they are at wal-mart they you can pull them over your head like a t-shirt
