This is when you press Ctrl Alt Del and you look at the Processors tab. Are all of these needed? Which ones do you gotta have and how can you disable ones you don't want?

http://www.processlibrary.com is a free resource that tells you what running processes are. Its top notch.

This program is great at giving more information, and you can right-click on a process and google more information about it.
