I showed Rabbits, Poultry, Dairy Goats, and Beef in 4H.... I remember so many bloopers....
In rabbits, my very first show, I took my Rex buck, and he didn't even pass the health check, because he had escaped his cage in pursuit of a doe, and scratched up his back and tore off a toenail.... so that was kinda embarassing..... I also had to milk a doe at county fair once.... I kept her litter in the trailer I was staying in, in the camping area, and milked her right before she went up to show, so no one would realize that she had a litter...
In goats, I hated the fact that I always had to explain why my goats didn't have ears... I had Lamancha's... the greatest thing that my ex, my dad, and I came up with, was we convinced some kids at state fair that beef jerky was really made from goat ears... my county had Lamancha's, Toggenburgs, Alpines, Nubians, and Lamancha crosses, so we had all the bases covered and convinced these two poor kids that the Lamancha's had just been harvested, the Lamancha crosses were just starting to grow back, the Toggenburgs and Alpines were almost ready, and the Nubian's were ready for harvest..... we never did tell the poor kids that we were just kidding either.... and that that was why beef jerky is so tough... LOL
With Beef, I had a dairy steer.... I completely shaved him to make him look spiffy and all the other beef kids made fun of me, but I didn't care....
with Poultry, I can't tell you how many of my hens and roosters, being sick of being in cages, while they were used to free range, tried to go roost in the rafters of the fair building... LOL
anywho.... that was my 4H stories.... :)

My bloopers were in 4-H as well.
Cows- my 1 yr old heifer that I thought I could handle (I was 14) bucked and kicked the judge in the middle of my class. My sister showed the same cow the year before and won firsts. After I walked the cow out, I got stuck and it wouldn't budge. It took me and 3 grown strong men to pull my cow the 100 ft to the barn.
Horses- my mare has an odd habit of always trying to pee on the judge in a halter or showmanship class- one show the judge had to jump back. The other 4 shows, she waited until the judge was on the next horse. My last halter show (Saturday actually) she finally did not pee during the class at all- which is a first!
