Guys, men, do you fall in love?
Do men ever really fall in love, I mean the way women do? I have many guy friends who are honest on this subject, so I have lost all hope. Do men ever just get butterflys just THINKING about a girl, not about a girl naked? Do they ever just sit in bed and watch their girlfriend sleep and think " Dang she is SO cute when she sleeps"? Instead of, " I wonder if I felt around a little if she would notice..if she did I wonder If she would slap me?"If put in the situation where a ht girl throws themselves at the guy, and his girl isnt putting out, would he ever stop and think, " Man, if I do this it will rip my girlfriend apart. Maybe I should control myself and wait...." DO they ever just love to hang out with a girl and not think about " Heyy maybe if make her laugh a little more she will put out tonight". Ever just look at flowers and think hey So-n-
So would really like these, not "hey if i get her these maybe ill guilt her into a good bj tonight". Are girls anything more than sex?

Why do guys think they shoulden't have emotions? OTHER guys, lol, see where im comming from? I want a guy with feelings personally, of course, that dosen't mean he has to strut everywhere (shash-shay) sp? or fight me for my eyeliner.....but its nice to know they still have some , then again my source is a bunch of late-teen early twenties guys...

T.Wang's answer was really good...if I could add anything:

And I think you'd get more responses if you posed this in the Dating&Relationship section. Not many guys venture into the Women's Health section and it would be better if you got men answerers.

Have you not ever met a married man in your life? Do you think we get married just for sex? Getting married for sex is like taking an airplane for the peanuts.

Men get a lot of bad rep for not being emotional or whatever. But we also get bad rep when we ARE emotional. Society sees men as unemotional creatures...if we show emotion it's a sign of weakness for us. Unfortunante...very.
Men get hurt a lot because people don't stop and consider our feelings...mainly because we're not "supposed" to have feelings.

So yes, we def. fall in love....
We def. hear that slow jam on the radio and think of her.

I heard from somewhere that we actually fall faster for women than yall fall for us. If you show us just a little kindness, a smile, make us laugh...we'll fall for you since we get treated like crap most of the time.

This is why I am engaged, we fell in love with eachother

Not to be harsh to anyone, but the men you describe getting butterflies in their stomachs thinking about a woman naked and nothing on a relationship level are not real men.

T. Wang! has valid point about there needing to be ballance and that ballance comes from emotional and interpersonal maturity. There are a lot of men & women who lack emotionally maturity as well as interpersonal maturity and thus can not grasp or maintain an actual relationship. I believe flaws in our culture contribute a lot to this problem. I know the kind of men you speak of and I have seen women like that as well.

Don't settle for anyone who does not share your wishes.

Take care

Yeah, of course we fall in love! and yeah we do all those things, and more.

But let me ask you this: do women ever think, my poor boyfriend is really horny, I'm going to do something really nice for him and jump his bones when we get home, without him having to beg? Do women ever loosen up a little and think "gosh that was a great lay, I really needed that" Do women ever think to themselves, "wow, maybe if i don't make it so damn hard for men to get sex, they wouldn't be so preoccupied with it all the time?"

YES, THEY DO. Lol, well maybe not that last one. But you should consider it.

You seem to think that your emotional needs are all-important, but that sexual needs are perverse or slimy in some way. And I feel sorry for you, but if that's the way you were raised, then that's your problem. Human beings, BOTH genders, have emotional AND sexual needs. The fact that our culture tries to make women think and feel like they aren't supposed to enjoy or want or like sex is terribly unfortunate, but you don't have to listen to everything other people tell you.

P.S. I think that you might find it easier to find a man that loves you, if you actually liked men more. It seems like right now you kind of a) hate men, and b) want them to act like women. Maybe you're just not ready to be dating yet, I don't know.
