What I hate is how much it can hurt. I always get bad cramps, and some of the time I get really bad headaches during that time of the month. I swear, if a guy had to experience what it feels like to have a period, they would suffer and realize that it is hard after all (I know some guys that would become huge sucks and crybabies if that happened to them, right now I don't think they realize how painful it really is).

It is horrible. Yet not to all people. Everyone seems to be different. I, however, had terrible migraine headaches, the kind where noise and light accentuated the pain, along with nausea. Also I was irritable before and during, and ate 1000 extra calories a day .I couldnt sleep either for 2 nights. The cramping was worse before I had children but still continued . Now, after menopause, I am finally stable and havent had a headache for years.
I hope you can get some RX like Pamprin which has a diuretic in it to relieve the extra fluid or else drink tea which is also a diuretic.

Oh yeah! It was so nice when I was on the Depo shot, I didn't have a period for like 3 or 4 yrs! No cramps either. But I gained some weight. Now I switched to the Nuva ring I have it all over again. I sure didn't miss it!!!

ME ME ME,Gosh.....During that period, I can be such a drama queen for two days, emotional...I took pity on my bf cause he is always the one that I took out for that drama, but he learns not to interfere when those times come.Good luck for us, ladies.
