I guess we're here to boost each other's morale, not doom it. I agree, there are questions that really belong in the trash bin. Sometimes it makes me so incredulous that these questions were ever thought up but then there are those of us who really believe in their questions and are serious about them. There are also those of us who just ask questions for the sake of attention. Now, how would we then determine which is truly trash bin material and something to let slide? Perhaps we're better off just giving stars for really good questions. . . . much easier to judge.

They used to have a "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" for questions, but they replaced it with the stars. I preferred the thumbs.

That sounds like a good idea. But it would upset people and they would report the person who did it. So they'll never do it.
