I bought L'oreal self-tanning lotion instant bronze glow. It has a weird smell and instead of giving a nice glow, it gives a really bad stained look. Any suggestions on which ones really do work for very light skin? Thanks :)

One by Jergens is supposed to be natural looking...the lighter the product, the better.

I'm quite pale and use Neutrogena Build-A-Tan. It goes on light but in a few days you'll have a noticeable glow. Make sure to exfoliate before hand and rub it in more than you would a moisturizer. Wash your hands after and use it sparingly on knees/ankles/elbows, etc. Also make sure to let it dry for 10 min or so before you get dressed, and don't shower for 8-10 hrs after you use it.

ive tried an excellent sort of those tanning creams and there is not likely one that does not turn you orange. all of them stink and turn you orange. your ultimate wager is to bypass to the tanning mattress
