you could save money by only putting 20 or even 10 dollars or more in a savings account (savings account you can get them in any bank you would like) and also forget that you even have money in a savings account so you won't withdrawl any money out unless its an emergency and you need it bad
or just tell your job if they can take some of your check and just deposit the money to your account... and in a few moths you will even forget that they are acctually taking money out off your payroll check and has been deposit to your account.. and after you know it you"ll have some money saved and u will be amaze of how much money u saved. u can deposit more than $50.00 dollars a week and by a month you will have almost $200.00 saved and by the end of the year u might have saved $2,400.00 or so and if you want to give more than 50 dollars that will be great... it depends on how much your payroll check is or how much you can actually aford to deposit.. some people who make about $500 or $600 a week they will actually deposit like $250.00 or more and if they don't have much payments to make or lets say that they had pay everything for that month they will actually deposit almost all of it and just keep like $100.00 out for them and at the end of the year or on there vacations they withdrawl some or all the money they have saved and they take some good vacations !! : )
or you can simply saved from $5.00 or what ever you can : )

Depends. Saving money is harder and easier for different types of people. Personally saving for me is easy. The way I save though is by putting money in my savings account. And I am not alloud to take much out. I have saved tons and am working towards my sons college account. Has been going great. I would suggest it to anyone! Good luck and get some money!

Does your job have direct deposit? If so, just instruct your payroll person to directly deposit 10% into a savings account. That way, you will never see it. Once you get about $500 saved, have that amount deposited into a 2-yr CD. That way you can't bother it and it will be collecting a little more interest than your traditional savings account. Then start all over again.

Saving money is easy. If you have a job that is. Each pay take 10 percent and deposit into a bank account. Dont touch it. When you have accumulated a larger amount look into GIC's they will collect interest for you. Pay attention to what you spend money on. Do you eat out alot? Try cutting back. Do you buy useless things?

usually the first step is to record all of your expenses over a period of about 6-8 weeks. you are to write down every dollar you spend, even if it's $1 for a soda. you can sort your expenses into categories like 'food', 'entertainment', 'credit cards', 'rent' etc. you also record all your income during that time period as well
at the end of 8 weeks you can look at your spending habits and see how much you spend in each category.
next is to set up a budget. you obviously want your expenses to be less than your income.
you will have some fixed expenses such as rent/mortgage, loan payments etc.
most of our expenses are variable, meaning that we can control how much we spend. often people spend a lot more on food and entertainment than they realize. what you can do is set yourself a budget per week of how much you can spend on food and entertainment. you can save on food expenses by making lunches yourself and making dinner yourself. one idea is to cook on the weekend a whole batch of stuff that will last you through the next week for dinners so you have something to heat up after work or school during the week. i know how tempting it is just to pick up something when you are tired and the thought of cooking just doesn't appeal.
try to also cut down your entertainment/clothing/personal expenses.
if you can, try to take at least 10% of your paycheque and put it immediately into a savings account. you can include this as a fixed expense in your budget.
good luck with this!

Open a savings account and have money from your pay check deposited directly in to the account. (You do not miss money that you do not see)
Start out small and build your deposits over time.

spend less than you make. Have 5-10% of your take home pay automatically deposited into a 401k, or a mutual fund, or a money market account. If you don't see it in your paycheck , you will learn to live without it.

For every dollar you make put away at least 10 cents and before long it will become a habit.
