It was a good movie, but it didn't feel like a James Bond movie.
The character was entirely different. He had no James Bond-esque smoothness or class.
Daniel Craig played the part as more of a jerk compared to the classic portrayals of Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.
Oh - and James Bond never played Texas Hold 'Em. His game was Baccarat.

i saw it last night as well. great movie. i was a little worried cuz he didn't look like a bond but he did a good job. The stunts were a bit corny. It just didn't tie in with the other movies cuz they mentioned 9/11 and some of the technology.
but still

YES! I love it! and I'm so glad people responded to it the same way I (and you did). It's in the top 40 in the highest grossing movies of all time (worldwide).
I just loved how realistic it was compared to previous films. Also, I love the bond girl Eva Green. and I have to say, I didn't like Daniel Craig much at first but he REALLY shined through! Great movie! Forget Brosen!

I thought it was pretty good, it was the only one I ever wanted to see multiple times (and by that i mean twice). I was hesitant of the blonde bond, as most people were, but it wasn't a big deal.

dude it was amazing!!!!! I bought it the first day it came out cuz when I saw it in theaters it was killer, I could watch that movie a billion times. I'd say it's the second or third best though

I saw it last night too! We had a drive-in for the members at the country club where I work! It was fun!

I totally LOVED it and I have been a 007 fan for years. I would love to see him in another one. He is a hot guy, acts well and I love the luxury hotels, cars and other actors (actresses in it). Great plot, too. I saw it in the theater and want to rent it at home.

It was a change from the usuall Bond, but I liked it. Not as much action, but nevertheless it amused me.
