My weatherstrips on the doors windows became very hard and by the time i found replacements (is a Mustang '74 and they r rare) the had allready made some very bad thin long scratches on the windows glass.Is there any way to fix them or at least make them less vissible without using those market products witch i dont trust?

go to the hardware store and get 000 steel wool and rub the scratches with it, if the scratches are going to come out that stuff will take them out, also you can try rubbing compound, I had a glass man tell me that and it took some scratches out but not all of them.

Use a very fin brush and paint the scratch with a clear urethane (like the stuff theyput on floors to finish them. It'll mask the scratches when it dries because it has a similar index of refraction.

try 600 sand paper. but if you don't know what you doing forget it.
