i am 13 years old, end of 7th grade. i really want to wear thongs, but i am embarrased to ask my mom. do you think it's too early. a lot of the girls these days wear them. how do i ask my mom? :/

i started wearing them in sixth grade and now thats all i wear. i cant stand having panty lines underneath my clothes and yeah they're weird the first couple days but after a while its like you arent wearing anything at all.

i suggest going to victorias secret in the pink section they have a lot of different styles for young teenagers plus you can get 5 for only $25!!

but definitely talk to your mom its really weird but trust me moms like to be included in this kind of stuff. yea its gonna be awkward at first but both of you will get used to it.

If you're giving into peer pressure, shame on you! But, it's true. I do myself, but that doesn't mean that everyone should! My aunt got me them; she said it'd make my life easier if I could wear pants that would show underwear lines with standard cotton underwear. Just ask your mom, or another adult you feel comfortable with, but not your dad. If you can't get the words out to your mom's face, then ask her POLITELY in an email. Going up to her takes more courage then I can imagine, so email is best. Or, text message, leave a note, whatever you feel will work.

There's no rules against thongs! They make your butt look good when you where skinny jeans. Dont be embarrassed, just ask your mom. But dont say that it's because everyone is wearing them. just say that you want to give it a try. Go to Victoria's Secret if you get to have one.

my sis got hers at 11 so i remember that when we went to the mall we passed by victoria secret and she said mom,can i get a thong?but dont be scared to ask her!!and my mom said i dont know if you are old enough so she asked the people who worked there and they said you are too young!!and she got it any way!!so i think you should ask your mom in private and say i think im old enough to get a thong so can i? and see what happens if she says no than ask her when you can.

Ask ur mom or kind of beat around the bush and see what her reaction is....my best friend and I got them from our moms for our 13th birthday(but I was almost in 8th grade cuz my birthday is the first week of September) as like a right of passage kinda thing.Just ask and see what she says.

I'm the same age as you, and I personally DO NOT want to start right now, they look pretty nasty and uncomfortable.
Try talking to your mom and ask what she thinks of you.
People just wear them because it looks cool but I heard its uncomfortable I mean if you want to be picking your bum all day then go ahead..

OH MY GAWSH! I had this prob. too in 7th grade!!!!! No your not to young. I took my mom to my room and told her about how a lot of girls wear them and told her im responsible and mature now and she let me. My friends however bought them without their parents permission because her mom said no. She hand washes them and her parents NEVER know!!!

OH and you DONT EVER buy them from walmart
try American Eagle or Kohls. Make shure their silky because if their cotton or lacy they are SO painful!!
