Finding magazines doesnt mean anything bad. No need for concern, unless its something very unhealthy and unusual.. then it would be alright to bring it up to him, in a non embarrassing way. Like, try bringing it up to him casually, without accusing him of anything. Give him a chance to explain or walk away if hes embarrassed. Teen boys are complicated. Do what you thinks right and Im sure everything will be alright. Hope everything goes well for ya!

Umm thanks for the advice. My son isn't old enough for me to look under his mattress yet. But if I ever get worried about his behavior in the future, I will be looking under his mattress.
I can't speak from experience at the present time but I am sure that if a mom doesn't trust (or is concerned) her child she probably will check under the mattress, just to assure herself that nothing illegal is going on. I don't think magazines would be bad. You are a teenage boy and you are going to be interested in things and that is normal. I think she would be more concerned if you weren't interested. I think I would be. You're coming up on puberty, right?

If you and your mom have a good relationship she will have no reason to look under your mattress.
(I am assuming you aren't hiding anything illegal...)
I know it is hard to believe, but we mom's (and dad's too) were teens once -- we aren't totally removed from what it was like.
I don't go through my sons' rooms (I have three -- 14, 16 and 17) none of them have ever given me reason to -- but if I were to find something that wasn't illegal or dangerous -- I would just leave it be.........
I knock on their doors and do not go in there when they are not home, if I don't have to ( I will go in to put things in there, but I don't put their laundry away and they have to look after their own beds) -- and I expect the same from them -- I hope you and your mom do the same to respect each others' privacy.

I think if I found stuff under my son's mattress it would be because I was changing the sheets. Otherwise, as long as it wasn't drugs or anything like that, I would probably just put the magazines back. Boys are boys.

I am a mom, and I probally come accross things if I am cleaning the room because teenagers are disgusting when it comes to rooms, believe me I just overgrew that level. Well if I ever find stuff like that from my son, i will think it is tottally normal for a young guy to be thinking about those stuff. As long there no drugs or alcholo its ok...

I have 2 grown sons now...did I look in their rooms when they were teens..YES. Did I find mags, yes, did I find socks and underwear with stuff I don't care to think about on them...yes. Did I tell or confront my sons no, as long as I found nothing that would hurt them I left it alone. They are both very productive members of society. That is a natural part of boyhood, hopefully Mom will know this. As long as your not doing drugs or hiding something that will hurt you your okay.

I know it does seem unfair that your mom looks around your room but most mom's are concerned about their children and she may have been told about something that concerns her. I know as a dad I knew my son masturbated because it was obvious but I never would say anything to embarrass him but rather we talked about sex and things. He felt comfortable talking to me about it. If your concerned about things your mom might do or find, talk to her about it and be honest about your fears. She is your mom and she loves you. Just keep the lines of communications open and honest.

i think of that's terrible. besides the shown fact that it occurs because of the fact women dont understand how undesirable it hurts. women persons dont have everywhere on the physique which would be hit that could create a similar feeling. surely, as a girl, the only element i will think of of that would desire to wreck as undesirable is being penetrated with some thing that's a lot too great, or childbirth. maximum of those women have not experienced the two one. i think of they think of that its purely a interest, that it truly doesnt harm that undesirable. On a sociological attitude nonetheless, you would be able to desire to argue that that's lady's way of attempting to combat back against discrimination in line with being lady. On a cultural point, there are nevertheless many people who sense that ladies persons are susceptible. it would desire to be reported this would nicely be a manner of girls letting boys understand that they are susceptible too. i don't think of that makes it desirable, so please dont misunderstand what i'm asserting. that's only one plausible clarification.

Inless she has any reason to think that you are being suspicous she should not be snooping around, But if your mom is the type that would snoop for no reason then you might want to hide your stuff in less you are ready to answer a bunch of her questions.

My mom cleaned my room the other day and found my underwear I used to clean up my ***. Luckily I didn't have anything else for her to find. I am 14 and I know now that my room is open to her when ever she wants. She hasn't said anything to me about. I hope she doesent figure out what it was or what I was doing. I couldnt look her in the face if she knew that I was masturbating.
