i'm trying to plead my case that Maya is a better name but she things Mia is the way to go :(
so i need an unbiased opinion! thanks :)

Hi There,
I think Maya is BEAUTIFUL, not to mention the only Maya's I have ever known have been very beautiful (inside/outside) people.
Mia is okay, but 1) I always see MIA (Missing in Action)
2) I think of Mia Farrow
I tell a quick funny story:
A number of years ago I found myself believing I was pregnant (I wasn't but I was sure at the time) any way
I was excited even though I was a single mom already and
was on the outs with a short term relations. Any I had even
picked a name, because like I said I was sure, I was
going to name this baby if it was girl Maya Faire
I told a friend one night and she started bursting with laughter
to the point I was getting mad. She just kept say you can't you can't. I thought it was a wonderfully beautiful name
she said Maggie---think, say the name again I did and
well I guess I had to agree..... My affair!!! How appropriate hey!!!
My suggestion go with Maya just not Faire for the middle name. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Sorry. I like Mia better. I always think of Maya Angelou when I see the name Maya. I have nothing against her, but I wouldn't want to be thinking of her when I heard my child's name.

Maya is DEFINATELY better!!!! Mia sounds like a juvenal nickname. I love the name Maya! In fact, one of my best friends is named Maya!
