1 quarter =25 cents (4 quarters make a dollar)
1 dime = 10 cents (10 dimes make a dollar)
1 nickle = 5 cents (20 nickles make a dollar)
1 penny=1 cent, (100 make a dollar)

There are some rarer 50 cent pieces, not common, and there are several new 1 dollars coins that are not common yet

There is a centavo, a peso, 5 peso, etc. and then just notes like a 20, 50, 100, 1000 etc. It's easy. The smallest demonination coin has a hole in the middle.
