As far as I know, nothing like that has been invented yet. My husband has a Lazy Boy, and I have a Barcolounger. They both sit or support differently and one rocks, while the other doesn't. But none of the other brands rocks you either, from my knowledge. There is still room for new practical inventions that are needed today. All it takes is money to make the model, and the right con- tacts to manufacture. So sharpen up your mechanical pencil and take the first step.

I am not a chair rocker.. I hate when I sit in chairs that belong to chair rockers because the backs are loose!! I sit and lean back, and the freakin' chair flips back... Ugh. I hate it.

I used to love to rock in my rocking chair...never fell backwards, though, but came close. My favorite now is to swing on a porch swing on our back porch...especially when it rains hard. I then sing very loudly, and the downpour on our metal roofed porch makes so much noise that I can bearly even hear myself sing. We live on a 5 acre peice of land and we have no close (in distance) neighbors.
I love watching the clouds move fast while swinging, and along with my sort of melodious utterances, it is so cool....it's a release of any tensions that have come my way....ahhhh
My favorite song to sing while in the swing is "Berkley Woman", a song by John Prine ( I think, though John Denver had it on one of his albums).

Yes. It just seems natural to rock if it has rockers. Or swing or glide, whatever. I just can't seem to be still if my seat is capable of any kind of movement....lol
