If you left someone - why did you? Did you feel guilty and was that still the right thing to do? Why do you think you fell out of love?

I left a few girlfriends. All before I ever said, "I love you"

I have never left a woman I loved and committed to. Since all I left were women I had expressed no commitment to, I don't feel guilty about leaving them.

Once committed, I was theirs, and did not leave.

I took love very seriously, and have always considered love to be a decision, a commitment to care for that person.

You don't fall out of love when you look at love as something you do, and not something you feel.

For What it's Worth.

I most definetly did not feel guilty, and i know it was the right thing to do. Infact, i knew marrying him in the first place was the wrong thing to do and the stupidest thing i could have ever done. He was such a complete controlling jerk. I felt so free after i left him, the only thing i regret is being with him in the first place.

I left an abusive, drunk husband.
I do not feel guilty, ever. It will always be the right thing to have done.
We were married after only knowing each other 3 months. Love cannot survive when there is abuse.

I did not leave anyone. They left me and it did not feel good and it was wrong for them to do so. My second husband left me to go gamble in Vegas and never came back and my youngest daughters biological father took off when he found out i was pregnant and has not ever even seen her one time. I really do not know why they fell out of love with me. I think leaving someone is cruel.

I left an ex boyfriend because he was physically abusive and put me in the hospital where I had to make the decision to have a late term abortion...I was 6 months pregnant (yes I was PLANNING on Gestateing full term).
I left my ex husband because he had become controlling, mentally, verbally and emotionally abusive to myself and our daughter and his temper was causing him to become physically abusive. I wasn't going to put up with that crap again. And hell no I didn't feel guilty.

At the time or now? At the time, no. Now, yes... I was evil (mixed up, lacked character) in some of them. In some of them, however, I did the right thing because they were dangerous people (doesn't speak too well for me being as long in those relationships as I was, unfortunately).

I did nt leave anyone, she had an affair and left me, the sad thing is we are all accountable for our actions. The bible says that the only reason for divorce is if your partner is unfaithful.....Jesus loves you
