You will have BUBBLES out the wazo. Not highly recommended. It can also harm your machine.

if you have to use regular detergent only use 1/4th the amount that you would use in a regular washer, or you will have way to many suds and your clothes wont rince.

if this happens put liquid fabric softener in the detergent compartment of your washer, it will get rid of the suds. to many suds will harm your washer.

they are good washers though.

it doesnt break down but HE washers use little water and with normal detergents there are alot of suds and it wont rinse well.
