I love my chemical romance, three days grace, 30 seconds to mars system of the down, lamb of God, killswitch engage,the misfits....bands like that!

It depends on the age demographic. Pop and Rap music and some Rock music is more popular amongst younger people. But amongst some of the older people it's a different style of music altogether.

Same with my school. But there is a portion that listens to decent rock. Coincidently its the skaters and preps I dont know why.

They might think it's too morbid or depressing to play more often on the radio, which means it wouldn't get as much notice as rap or pop.

I think it's the school. My daughter and her friends like HIM, MCR, Kill Hannah, Trivium and Metallica.

pop and rap suck. theres no logic behind them. atleast the artists who write rock and metal actually write from their hearts. also, rock and metal has so much emotion to it.
