I was surfing on the net and all of a sudden there was a popup and it was like porn, it was weird, and then i logged onto my email msn account and on there there was a random chat window and it popped for 2 secs with websites on it and closed. This has been happening for the past 2 days. I do not know what it is, I need some help to clean out the computer of any viruses. Any idea of any free software or what i can do to clean it out.

1. Scan for virus and remove (free online scan, no download) with BitDefender.

go to www.avast.com and download the home edition its free and very good, update it before you do any scans, also get spybot search and destroy and adaware se personal,look on google for them,again update after installation, that lot should keep the pc good and clean, you should also consider a good firewall, i reccomend comodo, all these programs are free
