Yes this does happen to people but you have to consider that if you drop out and the requirements for your degree are changed you could have to spend an extra year to get it once you come back. Force yourself through this semester and you'll have a chance to take a break and focus on your career and living the life that you want to live. You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you give up now that you're so close.

Maybe you are dreading leaving school and joining the boring world of working adults. If you drop out, you don't graduate and you don't have to get a full time job and work 50 weeks a year and get married and have kids and get old and die.
Maybe you'd feel better if you planned something fun to do after graduation instead of thinking about getting a job. Keep fighting!, school may have little incentives at first, but its a better feeling to finish what you started then to quit now. Maybe its like your last year of high school, everyone had senioritis and felt lazy. You sound like a good student, so i think you know its best to finish.

i think this happens to everyone. buckle down and just get through it-- you're so close to being finished and you will seriously regret it if you don't. count the days if you have to, pretend its prision camp, try to think positive, but whatever you do, don't drop out!!!!!!
