I thought everyone knew this. So the clothes fit them like hangers. Also, curvy models tend to distract from the clothing. Most designers like the way their clothing hang on super skinny chicks. However, some designers like Kimora Lee Simmons (Baby Phat) are embracing curvier gals. I'm 5'7 and 130 lbs. and people tell me I'm too skinny but with a "C" cup and some hips, I'd still be way too big to be a runway model. Also, take notice that it's the runway models that are always skinny. Supermodels are not always aneroxic looking. For instance, look at Tyra Banks and Christie Brinkley. They weren't beanpoles, just very tall!

Supermodels do not have to be skinny but they chose to. They either have a bad self-image, or they are anorexic or bulimic. They also may be trying to get attention.

because everything has to look great on them. their job is to sell the clothes if they didnt look good in something, then they wouldnt be selling the clothes very good. the designers dont dress the supermodels on what they would look good in, they dress them up and expect them to look good.

really tall women like supermodels are surprising. yet like others have stated, at the same time as they advance that tall they stretch their body out a lot, and so their breasts are many times really small and they have extraordinary curves. I desire women slightly shorter, as they're no longer as stretched out and so that they many times have magnificent plump breasts and horny curves.

i think the majority of models are really skinny and people still think that they are beautiful is because they seem unreal. almost "perfect" because we barely ever see a regular person like that. they don't seem completely human to me sometimes even though i know that they are like ever other person.

well they also have to be tall because the designers make really long dresses for them,and acoording to them they therfore must be skinny

its their job. if you had to be looked at all the time you would probably want to be as skinny and beautiful as possible

they dont have to but they starve themselves anyway....thats really sad....and companies hire them anyway and give bad ideas to little kids and teens....
