I AM GONNA SET THIS STRAIGHT ONCE AND FOR ALL! the only people in canada who have those weird "aboot" accents are from the far east. And those accents are really cute. SO STOP MAKING FUN OF THE OTHER 29 million people, eh?

I wonder who you've come into contact with that makes fun of Canadian accents?? Unless they're from the border states most Americans don't really think about our neighbors to the north all that much, and we certainly don't think you're weird. Anyone who makes fun of you (out of malicious intent) is not representing the general American population very well. I am from New England, and have been to Canada several times, as well as have a lot of Canadian friends... Honestly I think the accent is cute too :) Don't worry about those jerks, we probably think they're jerks too...

Oh my goodness,, I am canadian,,,and I am aboot to blow a gasket eh? I mean who has the nerve to make fun of us canucks..I am going back into my igloo till the ice starts melting off the roof. I have to leave anyways and finish my deerskin parka..
