Am travelling to a remote area of Borneo and only means of internet/voice/data access will be via satellite phone using Inmarsat BGAN and service provider. Need some advice on reliable phones and user experience of similar remote areas.

I dont think you can actually buy them. The only people who use them are people like Kate Adie and other war journalists. And also the armed forces. You might be better getting a 3g phone with video calling on it. But how much an international video call would cost is anybodys guess.
