I wish i knew how important school is and how it really does decide your future. I did well my junior year of high school, but realized when applying for college, my horrible grades from freshman and sophomore year were going to keep me from getting into the schools i really wanted to attend. Don't settle on a college that seems so so to you. Go to a community college for a year, work as hard as you possibly can, and reapply to the school of your dreams. If you really want it, go after it.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SCHOOLWORK!!!!!!! If you want to be a loser with no money and live at home with your parents when your 28, then drop out of school, or at least flunk your classes.
If you want to make big bucks, buy a house before your 25, drive a new car and have a beautiful wife by your side, DO GOOD IN SCHOOL!!!!!!!!
Unless your talented enough to make money that way or have a wealthy family to fall back on, the only way to make good money is by joining the workforce like 99.5% of the adults. The amount of money you make once your in the workforce pretty much is determined by your education.
drop-out=poor with no money
high school grad=still a bit poor, but there are a few opportunities
2 year degree=making a little money
4 year degree=living comfortably
Of course, there are exceptions but overall, this is the way it is. Too bad the drop-outs won't realize this out until they get busted for the 2nd time for possession of marijuana when they are 28.
I'm glad I didn't drop out, many of my former friends did, though.

There is so much that I could write here. I think, though, that I'll leave the two that would have had the most impact on my entire life...
1. Sex has been infinitely better since I've been married.
I wish I would have waited for my husband.
2. My Grandmother was the most amazing person I ever encountered in my entire childhood. I should have sat down and listened to all of her stories, paid attention to all of her wisdom and realized that she loved me more than anyone else in my life until I met my husband.
I wish I'd had more time with her, and I should have made more of the time that I did have with her.

I was not invincible. I could not leap tall buildings with a single bound. I was not going to live forever.
Therefore...I should not have driven a motor vehicle as if these things were all true. I should have NEVER gone into a dark alley alone, nor experimented with chemical substances or sex.
More realism seems in order for all teens.

The world does not revolve around a pimple, a boyfriend, or a bad hair day... things happen and time moves on. Roll with it and just enjoy yourself, it goes way to fast. No matter how many people tell you that, its true.
Yes, there are people in the world who know more about some stuff than you do, its ok!

I wish I had known the importance of saving money for my future. I also know now that my parents were usually right, although I did not believe it back then.

How 2 listen and keep my mouth shut cause when u r young u think u no everything if u listen 2 adult u could avoid alot bad experiences. Enjoy being young because being adult is expensive with alot of responsibilities. Enjoy life and don't sweat the little things.

That the kids who I thought had such a better life and were so much cooler than I was because they were partiers have gone nowhere in life.
I wasn't allowed to go to parties... and I fought with my mom so much about it... I wish I would have realized... I'm glad I didn't go.
I also wish I would have known that doing things to please others and appear a certain way to others gets you NOWHERE. Embrace who you are... I wish I had started getting to know the real me a lot younger.

I REALLY wish I would have paid more attention in school rather then screwing around and getting into trouble. Now I am uneducated and embarrased about it.
