Cricket is only one of the many sports in the world but indians lose sleep over it so end up getting disappointed. YOur opinion? and how to cultivate interest for other sports universal like football or racing etc?

Coz it is MORE than a "sport for entertainment" for Indians.Though the world is populated with thousands of billion people,yet there is THAT special ONE over which u "chose" to lose your sleep;You don't say"OK..so tomorrow I look for the other as there are so many in the world"!!!Can you expect the soccer playing nations to change their favourite sport ...And even if they did...there'l be chances of their "losing sleep " over THAT sport.So, what would u ask them? change your loyalty,coz there are others to chose from?
And in order to inculcate interest in other sports, the schools should give exposure to kids in other sports.When you play a sport and ex cell in it at school/college, you are more likely to continue following it later in life ( though you may still lose your sleep over it then,too).

They are all (majority) very busy in politics, real estate business, advertising campaigns. Easy money getting ways,
and occupying Govt. and poor people's land.
They dint have to think about the Great Nation or its Prestige.
