My 15 year old son has been having sex with his girlfriend which I have already tried to talk to him about....they are both really good kids and don't normally do anything wrong but I am concerened because I overheard him talking to his 15 year old girlfriend and she said she was pregnant..... how am I supposed to handle the situation????? We are currently taking care of her because her parents just died in a car accident while they were on vacation and she has been getting sick from what me and my wife have heard and my wife said that when she was doing my sons laundry that his sheets were blood stained really bad......what do I do????? They haven't come forth and told us she is pregnant but my wife really thinks so and we don't know but she possibly might be living with us until she is old enough to get a job and a house.

Wow you have a lot on your plate that's for sure.....It sounds to me that you have taken her under your wing already....and if she and your son are having sex its a little too late to talk about safety ect.. if she is already pregnant....why was the girl not living with aunts grandparents or a family member? I wouldn't say that I would promote my child at age 15 having sex in my home but you have already sorta made your bed when you let the girl move in....so I guess you should embrace the fact that you will be grandparents and be as supportive as possible....and get the girl on the pill as soon as the new baby arrives....good luck.....

You are asking this question as if you are talking about children, but once they decide to have sex they cross the line into adulthood....they rushed the timeline, not you. Sit down, have an adult conversation with them. Before you do, establish the house rules and the expectations you and your husband have.....you dont want to be supporting them and the little bambino when they are 40. Babies are always blessings. If she is pregnant, they have chosen a difficult (but not impossible) road. Keep the responsibility on them. Ideas... they pay rent whenever they are not in school with grades up. They take on chores and responsibilities in the home. They get involved in a parenting class or other support for teenage parents. You love them the best you can...god Bless...

Jack, you sound like a great father. And your son sounds like a great kid, too.

Well, you could help them out. You know, give her support, and your wife can also tell the girl some things she did when she was pregnant with your son.

Yes, sir, this is a good question.

well at least you are concerned and willing to help.. if she IS pregnant i can guarnatee that they both are probably scared to death! So why dont you have your wife sit her down and straight up ask her.. if they are grown up enough to have sex then she is grown up enough to sit down and have that conversation with your wife! It might actually be a relief for them if they were confronted itstead of having to come to ya'll...

as your wife to talk to her as girls will share more together than with a man. tell you wife to tell her that you are all there for her and will do anything to help and just offer her all the help that you can. but what ever you do dont get angry.

Make your son take care of his baby. Make sure the girl knows to help out as well. Make them get married when they get to be 18.
